ABOUT
Why we started Pure Clarity Labs.
Water is something every household is exposed to daily, through drinking, cooking, and bathing. Yet most people have no accurate picture of what's actually in it. Municipal reports test for legal compliance, averaged across an entire distribution system, not your specific tap, your plumbing, or your filter.
Pure Clarity Labs was founded by someone who spent several years doing hands-on work in medicine and neuroscience research, before shifting that same bench experience toward a more immediate health question: what's actually in the water people rely on every day. The rigor didn't change — just the focus.
A story that stuck
Early in that research career, a mentor once described trying to reproduce another lab's pharmacodynamics results: same protocol, same reagents, different outcomes. After months of troubleshooting, the cause turned out to be the water each lab was using. A subtle difference in water quality was enough to change the science. It's part of why deionized water is standard in serious lab work, and a small, real example of the idea this business is built on: water isn't a background detail. It can change the outcome.
The parameters we test aren't arbitrary. Turbidity and microbial counts point to biofilm and contamination risk. Heavy metals and minerals affect both taste and long-term exposure. Disinfection byproducts and residuals matter for anyone managing sensitivities or medical conditions. Every result comes from calibrated instruments and validated methods — then explained clearly enough to act on.
Independent & unbiased
We don't sell filters or treatment systems, only test results.
Clinically relevant
Parameters chosen for health significance, not just detectability.
Plain-language reporting
Lab-grade methods, explained without jargon.
